Commiting to something new can be scary and nerve racking. But sometimes when you try something new, it propels you into your future. Dedicating yourself to train at Venture Martial Arts can become the best decision you ever make.  Bruce Lee once said, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” Known as probably the best Martial Artist of all time, in this instance, he was speaking about dedication. It takes a great deal of dedication to practice one kick 10,000 times, but that kick will break through the thickest board and will defeat the strongest opponent. That kind of dedication is learned through Taekwondo training.  The more you know about anything, the better you become. When you start as a white belt you know nothing. Venture Martial Arts is a taekwondo school that runs classes differently from anywhere else. Considered to be the best Martial Arts lessons in Broomfield, Venture is well known to the community as the place to go for excellent training. So what makes the Venture difference? While Martial Arts training has many great benefits, the best of all of them is that it can quite literally change your life. By stepping through that door for the first time and making the commitment to become a Martial Artist, your life and the lives of the ones you love will never be the same. Physical Fitness: On a very base level, taekwondo training is exercise. By attending classes on a regular basis, your physical health is improved. You become leaner, stronger, and more flexible every day. With the combination of cardio and strength training, your cardiovascular health and brain functions improve on every level. At Venture, we encourage a healthy diet of balanced macronutrients, and...

A few weeks ago Venture Martial Arts celebrated Venture Spirit Days! Students were encouraged to dress to represent Venture in the school colors of green, white, and black. They had an amazing time in wacky costumes, uniforms, and school gear. The school spirit radiated through the entire dojang and it was awesome to see so many students showing their love and support of Venture. That got us thinking, what is the Venture Spirit?  Our goal in teaching taekwondo is to have each and every student venture to a better life. We want to set everyone up for success in life by following three principles. These principles help students reach their peak physical performance, take control of their mental health, and become better people. By following this method students find the Venture Spirit, filled with courage, discipline, and happiness. Healthy Physical Habits: The first principle is healthy physical habits. We encourage...

We know that a new school year can come with a lot of anxiety, new teachers, new friends, and new material to learn. It can be stressful to grow up and take on a new year! The good news is that you can set your child up for success this year because, with Martial Arts training at Venture Martial Arts, they are given the skills needed to do well in school. Nine life skills are taught in each and every taekwondo lesson- attitude, respect, discipline, goals, integrity, perseverance, focus, confidence, and dedication. Each of these life skills plays an important role in success during the school year, we have chosen four that really allow a student to do great.  Respect: Students are taught...
